Account Manager
Telepoint is seeking a few select experienced sales professionals to join our team of technology experts. Direct industry experience is not necessary, but a plus. We will train the right person. However, a successful track record and a minimum of (10) years of outside sales or customer service experience is a requirement. If you are not a high achiever who wants to be paid well for results, this is not the right position for you. This position is perfect for a current stay at home mom who's kids are in school during the day, or a full time sales representative wanting to work part time. Recent retirees who want to continue working part time would also be desirable. Typical work day is 9 am - 3 pm, Monday through Friday. Be home to get the kids off to school and welcome them home at the end of the day. This position also involves Customer Service and Support responsibilities.
Telepoint is a full service telecommunications and data company that provides telephone systems and computer networking to businesses throughout Metro Indianapolis and Central Indiana. A successful representative can expect to earn $40,000 plus annually in this position. Compensation Package includes Base Salary, lucrative Commission Plan with residuals, and Car Allowance.

Description of duties and requirements
- Ability to maintain accurate databases and good customer relations with assigned clients
- Good command of the English language and excellent presentation skills
- Comfortable working around technology and learning new products
- Minimum of (10) years success in outside sales or Customer Service in Technology Industry
- College Degree or better preferred
- Excellent sales skills — ability to consistently drive and control customer interaction.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN and basic PSTN network preferred
- Good written and oral communications skills.
- Working knowledge of computer software — e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, ACT!, file creation/management, and Internet navigation.
Technical Support Representative
Description of duties Overview
- Provides high-quality service and support to Telepoint customers
- Must have professional appearance and excellent communications skills
- A minimum of (5) years field experience in a IT/MIS environment
- Must have MCSE, MCP, or CompTIA Certifications or equivalent combination
- Must demonstrate ability to work within Windows Networking environment
- Any duties that may be prescribed from time to time by management.
Additional requirements
- Working experience troubleshooting and maintaining Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, Active Directory, IIS, Microsoft DNS, Microsoft Windows XP, and 7, and Microsoft Windows server 2003-2008.
- Knowledge of various operating systems, software products (e.g. word processors, spreadsheet programs, etc.), relational database management systems, file formats, etc. is required and can be obtained through intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge.
- Basic router and firewall configuration and maintenance experience.
- Ability to work well in supporting remote users via phone, e-mail, IM, and remote control software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a strong customer support focus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business, professional, and technical documents.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priority with end users.
- Ability to write presentations, reports, proposals, and correspondence.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours as needed, as well as participate in regularly scheduled off-hours, late night / early morning / and weekend scheduled and unscheduled outages.
